The corporation "PromEkonomService" (Donetsk) in cooperation with the State Enterprise "Ukrpromvodchermet" has proceeded to testing of innovation equipment "System of electrical stabilization preparation of drinking water" at filter stations of Yenakiyevo and Krasnoarmeysk. The aim of these measures is to achieve economy of coagulant and suppressing biological interference with preparation of drinking water. The press service of PromEkonomService reports on this issue.

The organizers of the project intend to obtain result that provides for 50% economy of coagulant consumption and substantial decrease of the quantity of chemical agents at water chlorination. Economic effect of introduction of "S.E.P©" technology only at objects of the State Enterprise "Ukrpromvodchermet" will constitute up to 5 million hryvnas per year.

It is supposed that the works will be finished within the first half of the year 2007.
